The Seminario Hispano de Santa Maria de Guadalupe, of the Archdiocese of Mexico, focuses exclusively on the formation of seminarians who come from Hispanic communities in the United States and Canada. The men are sent by their bishops to study, with the understanding that they will return to their diocese for priestly ministry as appointed by their bishops.

During their summer vacation, seminarians return to their diocese of origin, and so during that period, the Seminario has space for 36 individuals. It offers a complete range of services for priests or seminarians who have an interest in advancing their Spanish language skills and their understanding of Mexican culture.
