The Hispanic Seminary of Our Lady of Guadalupe is housed in Mexico, and was formed to provide the United States with Spanish-speaking priests. It accepts only those seminarians who are members of the Hispanic community and were born in or are residents of the United States. These seminarians are committed to returning to the United States upon completion of their studies.

The studies in the Hispanic Seminary are recognized and endorsed by the Pontifical University of Mexico which grants the corresponding academic degree. The human, spiritual and pastoral formation specific to the seminary is bilingual.
